• Our client operates a post-natal confinement center based in Selangor, Malaysia, providing much-needed care for new mothers and their babies. Her business is supported by a team of over 45 midwives who deliver in-home post-natal care services to patients throughout Malaysia. As awareness of the benefits of post-natal care continues to grow, the demand for her services has been increasing steadily, creating an opportunity for expansion and greater success.
• Despite this promising growth, our client encountered a significant challenge that threatened the sustainability of her operations. The confinement care process heavily relied on products sourced from Brand A, known for their high quality and efficacy. However, the rising costs of these products began to strain her operational budget, making it difficult to maintain her competitive pricing while ensuring profitability. In response to this, she attempted to switch to products from Brand B, a more affordable alternative. Unfortunately, Brand B's products did not meet the high standards her customers had come to expect, leading to a noticeable decline in customer satisfaction. This not only put her reputation at risk but also created concerns about losing loyal clients and stalling the growth of her business.

2. SOLUTION 

•  Recognizing the urgency of the situation, our client approached us for a solution that would allow her to maintain quality while addressing the escalating costs. After carefully assessing her needs and challenges, our team proposed replicating the formula of Brand A’s products while maintaining their high standards of quality and effectiveness. 
• Our formulation team conducted an in-depth analysis of Brand A’s product composition to create a comparable yet cost-effective alternative tailored specifically to her requirements. This process involved not only replicating the functional aspects of the products but also optimizing them to ensure they aligned seamlessly with her post-natal care offerings.
• Once the formulations were finalized, we worked with our client to rebrand the products under her company’s name. This rebranding strategy was designed to enhance her brand identity, giving her complete control over the marketing, pricing, and distribution of the products. The proprietary product line not only maintained the quality her clients expected but also enabled her to present a professional and cohesive brand image, further strengthening her market position.

Together, aimed to create a line of nutraceutical foods and drinks that would be not only beneficial for the clients’ health and beauty goals but also enjoyable to consume. The primary focus was on taste—producing products that were palatable, easy to integrate into daily routines, and effective in delivering the necessary nutrients without the unpleasant flavor typically associated with vitamins.  By collaborating closely with Ilaj Food Tech’s experts in formulation and flavor design, customized products were developed that matched the specific nutritional needs of clients subscribing to slimming and skin purifying packages. These nutraceuticals were designed to support the treatments provided at the spa by ensuring clients received the right mix of vitamins, minerals, and other essential nutrients that would enhance the results from their services. The drinks and foods were formulated to be convenient and portable, making it easier for clients to maintain their diet and nutrition even while leading a busy lifestyle
